Yoga For All (Hatha Yoga)

This is our easier form of yoga. It helps stretch and tone your body, but you don't kill yourself doing so, as relaxation is interwoven through the class.

Don't get the wrong idea. You certainly don't get to sleep your way through an hour and a half.  In fact, this is still in many ways, a yoga that challenges all your major muscle groups.  However, the rest helps your body restore its natural balance more easily, and the general pace is slower so you can tune into your body comfortably, even when you are working harder.

You get to pay lots of attention to your alignment, listening to what works for you.   Overall the class enhances energy levels, destresses your mind and body system, and just feels really, really good.

These classes are suitable for all, whatever your level of fitness, man or woman. Even teenagers have been known to really enjoy this class, and get a lot out of it.

The postures can be modified so if you have a bad back, or any other injury or illness just tell the teacher. They will ensure you still get the maximum value out of the class, without disrupting other students.

At Love Yoga studio, we offer Beginners and General 'Yoga for All' classes. Most beginners will be fine in either though, as attention is paid to their needs in the context of either class.
