Why Yoga in the Workplace?
As the corporate world continues to operate in an uncertain environment, stress and stress-related illness are increasing.
"Work-related ill health already accounts for some 28 million working days lost a year in Great Britain. By far the biggest cause of this – up to half of all work-related absence – is stress and related mental health issues. Stress has to be tackled if significant improvements in attendance and productivity are to be made."

Yoga, either for individuals or for organisations, offers a convenient, non-weather dependant way to relax and exercise for both men and women.
The practice can be approached from a relaxation, exercise or spiritual perspective (although these are not mutually exclusive).
Yoga is growing in popularity. It is now so mainstream that the last UK Statistics report (UK Statistics, 2004) ranked yoga as the third most popular activity at 22% participation.
