Our lovely Mysore teacher Charlie Grange is back from 2 months of further yogic studies in India so the Morning Mysore sessions are happening on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 – 8.30am (with Charlie assisting from 6.30am, last mat 7.30am) and Sundays from 7 – 9.30am (assisting from 7.30am, last mat 8.30am).
These sessions are open to all. If you have never done Yoga before, it’s a good idea to try out some evening classes first and/or the Sunday morning beginners session so that you can get a feel for how to do Yoga before committing to a strong practice like Ashtanga.
If you have any aches or injuries and want to join, Charlie will modify the practice to your needs. So just let her know!!

Fridays Yin & Dynamic Yoga class is an exploration of the breath-movement connection into grounding and broadening what can be grounded and broadened so that, as a ‘result’, Yoga posture practice becomes a dynamic process. This we will take into the second half of the class, now warm and more in the body, to engage with deeply held postures of the Yin Yoga sequence.
we thank you all for coming along to the Tuesday morning Led Primary with Lyndsey. However, her life is so busy that this class will stop as of now (7th October by the time of writing). I want to thank Lyndsey for her commitment to Yoga and tracking her energy with integrity. She will, of course, still offer both lunchtime classes at Love Yoga.
Charlie may be studying more Yoga in India till the end of October, but we keep the Mysore room warm for her: Sundays the Mysore Room at Love Yoga will be open as usual, doors open by 7am, adjusting by 7.45am, doors close by 9.30am.
Myself and Louise Hutchison-Laird will instruct, encourage, cajole, assist and inspire you to flow through the Ashtanga Primary Series as well as instructing in an easy flow, in case you come in and energy is a bit low. Still come and practice!!!

on the 9/9/17 we at Love Yoga will once again host Aberdeen School of Shiatsu’s Treatment Day, which will start at 10am and finish by 5pm.
About 6 practitioners and student practitioners at a time will offer one hour Shiatsu sessions to those that have book (please!!). Donations (suggested £20) will go to CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen & the North) as always, as both Laura Davison and myself, Martin, are practicing Shiatsu at CLAN to help people who live with cancer.

We have stopped the Friday Led Primary (Ashtanga) Class as it became clear that summer is not the best time to start this one. Charlie will be re-starting this class in November, yes, I know, its a long way away and it might be at a different time, i.e. lunchtime on Tuesdays, food for thought….meanwhile, our dear Laura McCrimmon will be studying in Bali for 7 weeks and I will offer Dynamic Yoga on Wednesday evenings whilst she is away and Allan is covering her Tuesday evening class. A feast of Yoga and variations of teachings:)))
