Charlie may be studying more Yoga in India till the end of October, but we keep the Mysore room warm for her: Sundays the Mysore Room at Love Yoga will be open as usual, doors open by 7am, adjusting by 7.45am, doors close by 9.30am.
Myself and Louise Hutchison-Laird will instruct, encourage, cajole, assist and inspire you to flow through the Ashtanga Primary Series as well as instructing in an easy flow, in case you come in and energy is a bit low. Still come and practice!!!
We look forward to seeing you on the mat:)))
on the 9/9/17 we at Love Yoga will once again host Aberdeen School of Shiatsu’s Treatment Day, which will start at 10am and finish by 5pm.
About 6 practitioners and student practitioners at a time will offer one hour Shiatsu sessions to those that have book (please!!). Donations (suggested £20) will go to CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen & the North) as always, as both Laura Davison and myself, Martin, are practicing Shiatsu at CLAN to help people who live with cancer.
Anyone interested will please book with Laura (email: firstname.lastname@example.org)
Blessings & Peace
We have stopped the Friday Led Primary (Ashtanga) Class as it became clear that summer is not the best time to start this one. Charlie will be re-starting this class in November, yes, I know, its a long way away and it might be at a different time, i.e. lunchtime on Tuesdays, food for thought….meanwhile, our dear Laura McCrimmon will be studying in Bali for 7 weeks and I will offer Dynamic Yoga on Wednesday evenings whilst she is away and Allan is covering her Tuesday evening class. A feast of Yoga and variations of teachings:)))
The Ashtanga Vinyasa Class – for beginners and experienced Yogis
led by Charlie Grange
Charlie will offer an 8 week block of Ashtanga Vinyasa from Friday 7th July until Friday August 25th.
cost: £8/6 as usual or use your block cards
The Ashtanga Vinyasa Class is about learning the form of Ashtanga Yoga, how to use breath and movement to ones benefit as well as increasingly better placement or alignment of the Postures.
This form is moderate to strong, and Charlie will give you lots of tips and ways of entering and leaving postures. In any case, this is an invitation to have fun and learn at the same time
We’re delighted to announce that Mysore will begin again next week!!
The lovely Charlie Grange is moving back to Aberdeen to dedicate her fantastic teaching skills, energy and enthusiasm to the Morning Mysore Program
Ashtanga enthusiasts and anyone keen for a supported morning practice or who would like to get into one will have the excellent opportunity to benefit from Charlie’s wealth of experience not just in teaching but also as a practitioner.

The Thursday lunch class will resume as of May with our lovely Emma guiding you through beautiful, blissful practises to stretch out, release tension, gently strengthen your body and increase your flexibility.
Emma is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist with a skill for gently, kindly easing you into the subtle transformative power of breath-led yoga practices.
This is a 45 minute class from 12.15pm to 1pm and costs £6, or £5 concession.
for now the Mysore program is in sleeping mode. We’ll restart it in June, one way or the other:))
In the meantime keep practicing, with kindness and clarity in body and mind:)
There is no Thursday lunch class today running this or next Thursday 6 or 13 April.
Sorry for any inconvenience!
The last regular opening, until June, of the Mysore program sessions will be March 15th and after that I will open the studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays (21/23/28/30 March & 4/6/11/13 April) from 7-8.30am for a Self Practice, no teaching or adjustments, other than if you ask and someone, maybe not me, will come and help. There will be copies of the Primary and Second Series as memory aids available, but since Yoga is about awareness and Self-Inquiry through the body and breath, you can come and explore any aspect of your Yoga Practice, be it Ashtanga or other Hatha. No monies involved, donations are welcome, not necessary.
In June we have Charlie Grange taking the Mysore Program and more details will follow when we have created them
