For the next wee while the Mysore room at Love Yoga will be open only on Monday/Wednesday and Friday from 6am – 8.30am the usual times. When there is a Full Moon or a New Moon that falls on one of these days, I will open the studio on a Tuesday morning instead. The next Full Moon will be on Wednesday 23 March, so Tuesday 22nd March will be open.
I will be holding the weekday sessions and mostly Lyndsey the Sunday mornings (occ me).
See you on the mat
Come along to Mysore this Wednesday 17, Thursday 18 and Friday 19 February for guest Morning Mysore teacher Kirsty Waugh.
Kirsty studies under Sarah Hatcher, and is coming up from Edinburgh to give you a few days of her expert guidance. Get a wee boost to your practice this week!
Our new Thursday lunchtime class will now run from
12.00 – 12.45 each Thursday, as of Thursday 11 February 2016.
Come along for a relaxing and rejuvenating lunchtime yoga fix!
Since we currently have not got any Pregnancy Yoga class I think its appropriate for now to let you know that Judy Cameron runs pregnancy yoga class, as advertised below:
The Pregnancy Yoga class is held on Wednesdays at Queens Cross church Session Room on Albyn Place from 4-6pm. The cost is £10 drop in or £36 for 4 classes – and there is also a one off £5 registration fee. People can just come along. Best time to start is any time after 14 weeks and there is no latest time. Never had anyone more than 42 weeks though!
I am also holding a Birth Preparation workshop for couples on Sunday 14th February at Kintore Public Hall from 10.30am to 4.30pm – and another on Saturday 9th April. More details can be found on my website www.yogaofbirth.co.uk
Best time to do the workshop is anytime after about 30 weeks.
Join us for our first 45 minute lunchtime class!
Starting this Thursday 4th February, from 12.30-1.15pm
Rebecca will lead short, gently powerful and deeply restorative yoga practices each week, taking cues from students on the day to work on any specific needs.
Happy 2016 to you all:)
May this year be a year of Peace, somewhat against the odds if I look around in the world, none-the-less. Lets practice being more at peace as human beings can…
how we do Yoga, by which I mean how aggressive or apprehensive or in whatever ‘expression’ usually relates to how we ‘do’ life. So practicing being kind to your possibly tight hamstrings in your practice will engender being more kind in the world.
Apart from that near-to philosophical stuff, Yoga is an invitation to enjoy our bodies, the breath, the mind and its focus and quietening, being rooted and trusting in our senses.
see you on the mat
We are now closed for the festive period until Tuesday 6 January 2016.
Wishing you all a very Merry Midwinter, a happy Christmas and a beautiful new start in 2016.
Thank you for all your support and energy in 2015…… See you all soon!
the workshop on 21/22 November with Sarah Hatcher is now fully booked. Thanks to all those that will make their way to our lovely studio and add their love of Yoga to the space and Life.
A few spaces have become available for Saturday’s Going Deeper Yoga Workshop.
The workshop is about deepening the yoga practice and working from external, more gross awareness towards increasingly subtle internal awareness.
Contact us if you’d like to come along.
