May this year be a year of Peace, somewhat against the odds if I look around in the world, none-the-less. Lets practice being more at peace as human beings can…
how we do Yoga, by which I mean how aggressive or apprehensive or in whatever ‘expression’ usually relates to how we ‘do’ life. So practicing being kind to your possibly tight hamstrings in your practice will engender being more kind in the world.
Apart from that near-to philosophical stuff, Yoga is an invitation to enjoy our bodies, the breath, the mind and its focus and quietening, being rooted and trusting in our senses.

the workshop on 21/22 November with Sarah Hatcher is now fully booked. Thanks to all those that will make their way to our lovely studio and add their love of Yoga to the space and Life.
A few spaces have become available for Saturday’s Going Deeper Yoga Workshop.
The workshop is about deepening the yoga practice and working from external, more gross awareness towards increasingly subtle internal awareness.

Thursday evenings are now changing format slightly…..
6pm-7.15pm: Power Yoga – Based on Ashtanga, but mixing up the flow with postures from various series, this class will be strong, sweaty, challenging and fun.
7.30pm – 9pm: Flow Yoga with a Short Guided Meditation – a general, fun, flowing yoga class taking its cues from the needs of the class on the night. A great introduction to yoga for the uninitiated and a lovely practice for regulars. There will be a short guided meditation in the final 15 minutes or so of the class for those who are interested.
The Monday evening 7.30pm Vinyasa Flow class has been concluding with short guided meditations for some time, so feel free to check that out if you would like meditation to be part of your posture practice too.
Our lovely Tuesday evening Vinyasa Flow teacher Helen is now off on maternity leave. We wish her all the very best with this new, exciting phase of her life and are incredibly grateful for her time, energy, dedication and awesome teaching skills at the studio. We’ll miss you!
Lovely Laura McCrimmon is stepping into the breach and bringing her own light, bright, sparkly teaching to Tuesday night 7pm students going forward. She’s a lovely teacher with a wealth of experience and a new, fresh injection of yoga energy for us here.
No Mysore Beginners session this Sunday 13th September as it’s a Moon Day – next beginner session on Sunday 20th September at 8am
Lyndsey’s fantastic Tuesday morning Power Yoga class restarts next Tuesday 25 August.
